Life, health, happiness, yoga, style, travel, sunshine and endless possibilities…
Over the past few weeks, my skin has been glowing with health and here’s why… Rosalena! I recently had the Rosalena FaceFit treatment (£100 for 60 minutes) which is a natural alternative to botox. The facial, carried out by the amazingly talented Elaine Tomkins, works the connective tissues and delivers a personal layering technique that targets all the tired muscles that cause saggy skin, puffy eyes, frown lines and jaw tension. Techniques range from gently boosting circulation to the micro-contouring deeper massage.
The facial is deeply relaxing with specific acupressure points in the face being activated and any tension is magically dissolved with traditional Chinese jade stones. Smoothing, lifting and lymph drainage techniques are used to stimulate circulation and improve the skin tone whilst delivering stillness – a chance for inner calm, before the finale – the famous Rosalena glow!
The treatment is a completely pain-free workout for the face that stimulates and relaxes the facial muscles beyond belief, above all, it is a beautiful and relaxing experience with instant results.
Following the treatment I was given a bottle of the Beauty and The Beast Facial Oil (£38 for 15mls) that is designed to rejuvenate and energise the skin, and which I have been using morning and night. Elaine explained that unlike a cream, the molecules in natural plant oils are so small they penetrate into the skin’s cells that lie directly beneath the surface of our skin. Creams on the other hand tend to leave a layer on the skin and aren’t always fully absorbed. Instead of sitting on the skins surface, Rosalena’s hydrating oils are absorbed along with oil-soluble vitamins and antioxidants, right to where they are needed to work most effectively. My skin is honestly radiant with health after using the facial oil and I cannot credit Rosalena enough!
