Life, health, happiness, yoga, style, travel, sunshine and endless possibilities…
One of the many aspects that I love about yoga is that it requires little more than a mat and ideally somewhere peaceful and serene. However, that said, I do love to accessorise!
Recently, Yogabum kindly sent me a yoga kit including a beautiful new lightweight mat, yoga mat bag, hot yoga bag and large yoga towel.
This mat is lightweight, breathable and eco-friendly. I love the thickness of the mat, it feels thicker than it is, which is ideal for kneeling lunges and even relaxing in savasana. It is sticky enough for even the most ‘slippery’ of asanas and weighs next to nothing so ideal for taking to classes and for travel. The mat measures 183cm x 61cm. Finally, the colour of the mat is gorgeous! Very feminine and pretty.
This bag is bright and eye-catching. I particularly like that it holds my yoga mat upright. I have another yoga mat bag which holds my yoga mat parallel to the floor and I’m pretty sure everyone on the street gets hit by it as I walk past! The bag is spacious inside with both inner and outer zipped pockets.
This is an excellent little multi purpose bag, not only is it ideal for storing your yogawear in after a class (it’s waterproof – so great for sweaty yogawear after a hot yoga class) but I also store my phone, keys, money, hair brush and water bottle in the side pocket. I even used it when I went away for the weekend to store smaller items in my weekend bag.
I love this towel! It’s great for both hot and temperate yoga – it’s an all-round yoga towel. It comes in it’s own little mesh carry bag, one side has sticky dots and the other side is plain. It is lightweight, made from super absorbent microfibers and soft. It’s especially handy for when you go to a yoga class but don’t want to lie directly on the communal yoga mats.
I think all of my Yogabum items are amazing and am looking forward to seeing their collection expand! Yogabum sells all of their products in a rainbow of colours – check them out on the Yogabum website here.
