I was recently approached by an independent consultant from Arbonne, the skincare and cosmetics brand, who supplied me with a generous selection of products to try, including items from the brand’s FC5, RE9 Advanced, Shea Butter and SeaSource Detox Spa collections.

Not knowing much about the brand beforehand, other than a few murmurs & rumours, I was really impressed with the products given to me. All of the creams had a good texture, and felt luxurious to apply – there’s nothing less satisfying than a thin & watery skin cream which doesn’t do anything. The day creams contained SPF which is really good as I didn’t need to worry about applying additional SPF cream, and the night creams were extra rich to nourish my skin while I was sleeping. They also absorbed into my skin without leaving any greasy residue or shine.

fc5My favourite products, and the ones most suitable for my skin type, were from the FC5 range, which has been developed with vital cell nutrients from five fruits and vegetables:

  • Kiwi – Extraordinary source of antioxidants
  • Strawberry – Known for its purifying and toning properties
  • Mango – Nurturing, hydrating fruit
  • Carrot – Soothes and calms; ripe with ß-carotene
  • Pumpkin – Moisturising properties and bursting with ß-carotene

The FC5 range is designed to restore hydration and deliver radiant, beautiful skin. I definitely noticed a difference in my skin after using the products, it felt smoother and looked more luminous.

On a final note, I liked my Arbonne products and will definitely consider them moving forward. The only setback for me is that Arbonne is not available in physical stores, it can only be purchased via the company’s independent consultants or online. It would be great if Arbonne could secure a listing in one of the big department stores like Selfridges or John Lewis!

    A fabulous review! I know that the wonderful Petter Mork who founded Arbonne did so with a vision to provide ultra premium, Pure, safe and beneficial products at affordable prices. It’s my understanding that this is why he chose the network marketing business model over the traditional retail one to keep them affordable. The costs involved in the traditional retail structure would seriously increase the price. Ingredients would I guess also have to be altered involving many more preservatives if extended shelf life needed to be factored in. With Network marketing the products reach the user very shortly after they have been manufactured. So lovely to have a personal advice and take home and try for a few days before you decide, shopping experience tailored to your very own requirements every time you speak with your consultant too.
