Life, health, happiness, yoga, style, travel, sunshine and endless possibilities…
Having just experienced a gloriously warm and sunny London weekend, there is no doubt that Spring is here to stay and we’re inching closer to my favourite season of Summer! On that note, Ethos in Fitzrovia, tucked neatly behind Oxford Street, has just launched their new Spring menu and I promise it will put a smile on the faces of both vegetarians and meat-eaters alike! The new menu offers dishes which are a fresh twist on the classic versions of the vegetarian dishes that we all know and love. The concept at Ethos is still the same (read my other article on Ethos here), whereby you pay for your food from the buffet by weight, but like the seasons, the menu has changed. My favourite new items on the Spring menu include: Cuban Salad: This salad is perfect for Spring and Summer. It’s packed full of avocado, roasted pineapple, pine nuts, spinach, watercress and cranberries. The combination of flavours is mouth-wateringly good!
Farfallé à la crème: This dish is really delicious – exactly as it should be. The sauce was rich and creamy, and the pasta cooked perfectly al dente. I could easily eat a whole plate of this dish on its own. I highly recommend it!
Pumpkin Fritters: While these don’t sound very exciting, they are really good. They are light and make a great side dish.
The Red Smoothie: This smoothie is a blend of mango, strawberry, ginger, chilli and mint. It’s really different and the mix of fruit with spices & mint works surprisingly well. The Aubergine Meatballs, Moroccan Chickpeas, Sesame Korean Tofu, Carrot Cake and Green Smoothie (cucumber, pineapple, lime, lemongrass and mint) are also worth trying! The food at Ethos is deliciously different, and with so much variety & endless healthy choices, it’s hard not to keep returning! Therefore, I was super excited when the restaurant signed me up to their exclusive ‘Delicious Club’ and presented me with a loyalty card to use each time I visit! So if, like me, healthy eating is high on your agenda, make sure you stop by for some Spring food!
