Variety is now my new routine. I won’t get bored and I get to discover the very best of ‘healthy London’ every day. Last week I was able to do a range of bootcamp, spinning, yoga, Pilates and HIIT all at a mix of London’s most gorgeous & luxurious fitness studios. Classes are available from 6am until 10pm, all over London – there’s pretty much always something you’ll want to do available. If you’re not familiar with the studios, here are a few of my favourites:
Edge Cycle: This is one of my favourite spin studios in London (read my article here) – it’s bright & clean, and all of the staff are super friendly. The bikes are spaced out so you don’t feel squashed and you can choose from straight forward spin classes, to bootcamp classes which include mat work with weights. Try to go to Belinda‘s class, she’s a lot of fun and will motivate you without fail, or Jono‘s class, again he’s super encouraging and will make sure you don’t stop until the last beat. Good Vibes Yoga: There are two Good Vibes studios, one in Fitzrovia and one in Covent Garden. I personally prefer the Covent Garden studio because it’s bigger and more chilled out (read my article here). The studio works with some of London’s best yoga teachers, I highly recommend classes with Choi (who owns a schnauzer, Charlie, the worlds cutest dog, which sometimes comes to the studio with her) or Dimuthu. Both teachers are very experienced, their classes are energising & relaxing, and you will leave feeling like a new person. GymClass London: This is by far the most hardcore workout in London (read my article here). It’s the class where I can’t hardly walk or lift my arms up the next day! Helle and Matt’s Signature Classes are really great, they are both very good instructors. I haven’t been to other instructors classes at GymClass London yet, but the studio sets the bar high, so I’m sure they will be good. The next class I want to try at GymClass London is the Run & Conditioning Club with Ollie. Lomax: This studio is in the heart of Chelsea, it’s super luxurious with a delicious café. Don’t be surprised if you bump into a celebrity or two either. The Lomax Blast Class is a tiny bit more gentle than GymClass London, but just a tiny bit! Will‘s class is great, he’s fun, a little bit crazy and really knows how to get the most out of you – you will leave having worked out every muscle. This weekend I will be at the Lomax Tabata Challenge class, which I’m really looking forward to.
