Life, health, happiness, yoga, style, travel, sunshine and endless possibilities…
If you’ve ever been on a yoga retreat, you’ll know firsthand how happy and relaxed you feel afterwards and secondly, how difficult it is to leave. With this in mind, AdventureYogi, the yoga retreat and holiday specialists, have developed a series of Pop-upYogi ‘mini yoga retreat’ evenings in London.
The Pop-upYogi evenings occur once every two months and are an opportunity for attendees to recapture the yoga retreat vibe, as well as, introduce the concept to people who have never been on a retreat before, so that they can experience the yoga, the food, the ethos and the AdventureYogi atmosphere. The evening costs £37.50 to attend, which includes a 75 minute yoga class, a three-course AdventureYogi style vegetarian supper, a goody bag and 10% off your next yoga retreat or yoga holiday if you book within one month of the Pop-upYogi evening.
Having been on one of AdventureYogi’s WellbeingYogi retreats before (which you can read more about here, here and here), and absolutely loving every minute of the experience, I had to go and find out what the Pop-upYogi evening was like.
The Pop-upYogi evening I attended took place in a church hall in Victoria and the yoga class was led by Carolina Smilas who also teaches on some of AdventureYogi’s other retreats. Carolina ensured that the room was as serene as possible by dimming the lights, lighting candles and playing soft music. Her Vinyasa Flow style of yoga was uplifting and designed to help unwind & revitalise. After the class, the room transformed into a dining area where we ate a supper, which was (as always) delicious and wholesome! I returned home feeling stretched, energised & refreshed – it really was three hours of yoga therapy!
The next Pop-upYogi evening will take place on Thursday 16 April and will be extra special as AdventureYogi will be collaborating with Rude Health for a ‘Sprouted Yoga Supper Soiree’! The evening will take place in the beautiful Round Chapel, Hackney and has a one-off price of £50.00. It promises to be the biggest Pop-upYogi evening yet with Vinyasa Flow yoga led by Carolina Smilas, live music by Moksha Music and a delicious Rude Health sprouted supper which includes seasonal Ayurvedic soup with sprouted dumplings, a selection of Sundal and baked carrot cake with chocolate ganache.
Hope to see you at the next Pop-upYogi evening!
