Spring Cleaning with Fruveju

Spring is here and with the new season comes some spring cleaning for the body!  A spring clean can be just as good for your body as it is for your home and there’s no better way to do it than with a juice cleanse.

Raw organic cold pressed juice cleansing company, Fruveju, provides a break from these toxins while simultaneously flooding the body with nutrients from more than 15 pounds of 100% organic produce per day.  Fruveju offers three levels of juice cleanses for 1-day (£70), 3-day (£200) or 5-day programmes (£330):

Earlier this month, Fruveju, invited me to try their 3-day Explore cleanse. The cleanse includes six 500 ml juices per day that are consumed approximately every two hours:

  1. Pure Greens – kale, lemon, ginger, celery, spinach, cucumber, green apple, spring green
  2. Watermelime – watermelon, lime
  3. Pure Greens – kale, lemon, ginger, celery, spinach, cucumber, green apple, spring green
  4. Spicy Lemonadelemon, cayenne pepper, coconut nectar, filtered water
  5. Red Pineapple – pineapple, red apple, carrots, beets, ginger
  6. Cashew Milk – cashew nuts, cinnamon, vanilla, coconut nectar, filtered water

The juices flood your cells with vitamins and minerals that gently cleanse and heal the body. Furthermore, the juices are raw, unprocessed and contain no preservatives – no heat is used during the juicing process and there is minimal oxidation. With all of the ingredients that go into a Fruveju juice – your body is strengthened on many levels.

Vanessa Valdez, founder of Fruveju, explains: “The aim is to allow your body to heal and detoxify by using the energy that is normally used in digestion. You are still supplying your body with the required nutrients but in a very easily absorbed form”.

My experience on the cleanse was extremely positive, I loved the juices – they all tasted delicious; my favourites were the Pure Greens and Red Pineapple juices. Any initial concerns of being permanently hungry were quickly dissolved, the juices were filling and satisfying. I also discovered that since the juices are consumed approximately every two hours, there was actually no time to get hungry in between.  My energy levels stayed high and by the end of the third day, I was ready for a fourth day!  Following the cleanse, I felt incredibly revitalised, rebalanced and healthy.  The Fruveju cleanse is perfect for busy Londoners who want to kick-start their healthy lifestyle.
