Hip yoga studio, FRAME, recently invited me over to The Hoxton Hotel for their new signature class, BODY BY FRAME: an hour of continuous, low intensity cardio mixed with short bursts of high-intensity sequences. The class promises to help shed body fat and tone up without adding bulk. It is taught by FRAME’s team of top trainers, who come from a mix of dance, Pilates and fitness backgrounds, and have the ability to motivate just about anyone! So all you have to do is turn up, and leave the rest to them – which is exactly what I did!
I loved the energy of the class; it was so much fun that I actually forgot I was even exercising. The teacher was incredibly motivating and we moved quickly between the exercises, which target different muscle groups, so that as one starts to fatigue, you move on to the next. The class also included a mobility and stretching segment, working on elongating the spine and improving posture, encouraging you to hold your ‘Frame’ in the correct way, making you appear longer and leaner, but also reducing the risk of injury.
BODY BY FRAME is an hour of complete indulgence for the body and mind, guaranteed to get those endorphins racing! It certainly put me in the right mind-set for the rest of the day.
